Adoption Expenses

The costs to adopt internationally is extremely expensive. However, we know this is what God has called us to do, and we know he will provide everything we need to bring our baby girl home. I have heard many stories about families who had a payment coming due and they didn't have the funds. However, a check came in the mail that day that was an overpayment on a bill or someone that just wanted to help with the costs and it was exactly what they needed to make the payment that was due. 

I know God will take care of us and provide what we need when it is time to make a payment. Our prayer has been that he multiply the funds we have and help us keep costs down on everyday needs. When God calls you to do something, he never leaves you hanging and wondering how it will all work out. He has a plan, and I know he will provide for our family.

Here is a link to the adoption cost break-down for our adoption with AAC. This does not include the homestudy fees, post adoption fees, postage for overnighting documents, or fees for certain documents such as birth certificates, marriage license, passports, etc.

Here is a list of expenses that have been paid so far. I only share this because so many people wonder why it is so expensive and where the money actually goes. There may be someone that reads our blog one day who has considered adopting and this helps them realize you don't have to have all of the funds up front. There is time to save in between payments.
